The finger chopper evolves

A spectator's thumb is placed into the guillotine stock-playing cards with beautiful art and holes in the middle for the thumb-and a guillotine blade card, also with a hole, is introduced. The guillotine blade is placed in the stock and with a downward thrust and the spectator's breathing stopped, the blade slices through the thumb. The stock is removed from the thumb leaving the blade and the thumb unharmed. Breathing is resumed by all.
