The Merchant of Magic allows three easy methods to order your magic items.
Ordering online from The Merchant of Magic is easy. All card transactions take place on a secure server and we accept all major Credit and Debit cards.
Just select the currency that you wish to use, then add the required items(s) to your shopping basket and follow the prompts displayed.
Once your order has been received, you will be given a reference and an email receipt. Your goods will then be dispatched as soon as possible (usually within 24 hours for items currently in stock).

If you would like to order by post, simply send us your order together with your full address and contact telephone number, complete with a cheque or postal order made payable to Merchant of Magic Ltd for the correct amount in POUNDS STERLING. The address to send your order to is:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING RATES?
All orders under £30 have a fixed charge of £2.99 within the UK. Orders over £30 qualify for free UK delivery. Delivery to the rest of the world is charged at an estimated INTERNATIONAL RATE of £9.99 for the EU or £12.99 outside of the EU. In the event that the actual cost of shipping your INTERNATIONAL RATE order is more than the estimate we will email you the exact shipping charge. (In practice this only tends to happen with a LARGE order over 2kg such as a quantity of books or playing cards.
We dispatch items within the UK by Royal Mail (2-3 days). For an additional charge you can have many items sent within the mainland UK by Express Delivery (1-2 days).
Orders are collected at 3.30pm so they need to be made by 3pm, otherwise it may be dispatched on the next working day. We can not guarantee a delivery service at the weekend as it depends on your area's delivery service. For example an order made after 3pm on a Friday would be dispatched Monday to arrive to you on Tuesday.
International orders are sent by Airmail (3-10 days).

When products are currently in stock, we aim to process and dispatch all orders within 24 hours. However, if any items are not currently in stock, delivery may be delayed. Please therefore allow up to 28 days. We aim to keep you informed via email of the progress of your order. If you require an update at any stage though, please do not hesitate to contact our sales team, or check our online order tracking service.
Part shipping of orders is done at our own discretion.
GPS logging may be done on delivery by the courier. If parcel can't be posted though your letterbox and nobody is at the delivery address to receive the package, a card will be placed through your door, then it will be returned to your local depot and an attempt to re-deliver will be made the following working day. After that the parcel will be held for a further 5 days awaiting your instructions or collection before being returned to us. Any delivery charges that result from failed delivery/return or 3rd delivery attempts will be your liability.
WHAT IS YOUR IN STOCKING POLICY
Our website has been designed so that items that are out of stock will not be shown on the site. This excluded special order items.
HOW DO BACKORDERS WORK?
It actually depends on the individual situation. We keep 100% of what is on-line in stock at the shop or at one of our stock warehouses. Most items that are out of stock arrive within a day or so. All backorders are shipped within 24 hours of their receipt. If a backordered item is arriving within 48 hours, we will hold the order until it arrives. There are times when items that are manufactured for us take longer than normal to arrive.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN/REFUND POLICY?
We will replace any of our items if it has a defect, a replacement will be shipped to you upon receipt of the faulty item. THE PRICE CHARGED FOR AN ITEM IS FOR TEACHING YOU THE METHOD OR SECRET. THIS IS SUPPLIED TO YOU AS AN INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICE. ANY ITEMS/PROPS SUPPLIED WITH THE METHOD OR SECRET HAVE NO CASH VALUE AND ARE SUPPLIED FREE WITH THE INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICE. Please be careful when selected an item for purchase to ensure it is right for you. If you have any questions regarding a prop or effect, please contact us and we will do our best to answer your questions.
IS YOUR WEBSITE SECURE?
YES! OUR SITE USES A SECURE SERVER FOR THE CARD PAYMENT PAGES. Your details will not be passed on to any third parties. We may, however, periodically email you with information relating to this website and any forthcoming affiliated sites. If you wish to be removed from any mailing lists, please contact our sales team. Our payment section is protected on a secure server for your protection.
For security purposes all online credit card transactions are handled via a secure server and processed by NATWEST BANK PLC the world's leading payment clearing gateway. Nobody other than NATWEST and ourselves has access to your credit card details.
WHAT ABOUT TAX?
All prices shown are exclusive of V.A.T, as we sell mainly to professional magicians, the trade, and outside of the EU. Depending on your country and tax status, V.A.T is added at the checkout and your agreement is obtained before the order is completed. A full V.A.T invoice is available on request
