Silk to Egg

I purchased this egg to silk as it seemed an improvement on the classic design I had years ago. I found it to be too shiny and needs a matt finish and preferably the light brown type. Is it just me or is this too pointed. As others have suggested the shear line needs to be camouflaged with a jagged edge. I think the best way for adult performances is the classic egg and the routine with two silks, teaching secret and then cracking a real egg at the end.

I've actually sprayed the egg a flesh colour to blend into my hand. Find several people caught sight of a white flash as my hands moved. Now it's almost invisible. Would ask if it's possible to make the finished cracked egg looked jagged edged upon ending the illusion But a great illusion nonetheless.... Mysic Marc
