Sharpies are everywhere today. Offices, schools, bars, restaurants, checkout counters, Starbucks and most homes. At any moment, you borrow a Sharpie (or use your own) and with otherwise totally empty hands, right in front of your spectator's eyes, you break off the clip and instantly restore it!
With no switches or any funny business, you immediately hand it back out. You're clean and the spectator can walk away with their own marker, which is now an impossible object! And if you use a Sharpie for your own magic, Sharpie Quickie is the perfect follow up effect. There's nothing else to carry. As long as you've got your Sharpie, you're always ready to go. Comes with precision-crafted gimmick and a link to a video explanation where Brian takes you through four of his favorite handlings.
"Why didn't I think of it? Super visual, extra practical, a real worker!"
"There's no such thing as the final word on a plot... but Sharpie Quickie is as close as we'll come!"
Brian Platt writes: We're thrilled about Sharpie Quickie. My father and I are admittedly not the most prolific inventors. We throw out a good dozen or so ideas every year if they don't meet our criteria of being 100% practical and, of course, fool audiences badly. I've been frying people with this for nearly a year. Many prototypes later, we offer you a perfected gimmick and my four top handlings. I love using this as a surprising finisher to any effect using a sharpie. However with a borrowed Sharpie, this is a mind blowing stand alone effect. I can say without hesitation it's the single strongest piece of apparently impromptu magic I have in my arsenal.
Remember the conditions:
1. Hands are empty before. You only have their borrowed sharpie.
2. You cleanly and visibly break and restore their sharpie.
3. You instantly hand back their sharpie to keep.
4. Your hands are left totally clean!
