You show a square brass nut and a string. You thread the string through the nut and, ask a spectator to hold the ends so that the nut cannot escape the string in any way.

You then simply move the objects under the table (or under a handkerchief). A moment later, magically, the nut will be free and everything will be able to be carefully examined!

Beautifully made gimmick at an excellent price. The use of a handkerchief (it does not have to be a silk) makes it very easy to perform. Although It is not at all difficult practise will lead to a more convincing result.

The nut is finely made and a duplicate is supplied allowing one to make ones own take on the trick. It is let down however with the cheap looking cord that came with it.

Nut only fits on a thin ‘formal’ shoelace. No good if you want to use a thick trainer shoelace
