The Power of Words

The mentalist introduces a deck of playing cards with random words printed on the backs, he hands these out to be shuffled, then goes on to explain the power of words.

Three random words are selected, the spectator is then asked if any of the chosen words are significant to them? (One of them is)

The subject of backmasking is sneakily introduced into the routine. The mentalist then goes on to explain the premise of backmasking.

The three random words are repeated into the mentalist phone, then played backwards to reveal a hidden message. This message is the end of the effect, or so it seems, it then finishes with a kicker ending.
