This trick is amazing!!! An absolute must for everyone. I brought it as a Christmas present for my brother but unfortunately he had purchased it himself the week before so I am going to have to return it. I am hoping that Dominic will be able to help me to choose something else as he helped me out when I was buying my brothers birthday present back in October.

An excellent trick and the pen is well made and easy to handle after a short practice. My only comment to the designer is that the pen cap should have more friction built in as it tends to slip off when you hand it out for the spectator to write. Of course,the pen will not write on the new bank notes but if you hand out a peceof paper with it and ask them to write the note serial number, it gets over this problem.

Firstly, I am just starting out as a magician. But the video for this so impressed me I felt I really had to hav and learn this trick.
The poking through the £5 not is a skill I have not yet mastered properly though I understand it, but once its done, it is especilly effective if the pen "Seemingly" goes through the clear plastic part of the note as I was able to sho people that it really seemed to have gone through aand the note can be rotated with the pen through it, giving it an extra level of illusion. At the moment I rip the pen sideays along the note and hand the note to the audience. let them inspect the miraculously healed note and then the pen. The shock and delight from the audience is pure joy to me. I love it.
Now to perfect my skill in pushing the pen through the note.
I thoroughy recommend this trick to new apprentices as well as pros who haven't seen this yet. Five stars!!!

I’ve been using this style pen for a very long time. It’s not “New.” However, it is in my daily walk around. I never leave the house without it. It works exactly as shown in the video. I love this pen and always keep several in stock. The only problem is it IS NOT 100% safe to pass out. Think wisely as people can figure it out very easily. Even with a few added drops of oil. You’ll understand that later. I highly recommend. If done properly, they won’t want to touch the pen I’ve laid in front of them. I give it a 10 out of 10 because of my handling. For a novice that may lack audience control, it’s still a 9.
