The performer tells a story about a very special poem from their childhood, written on a sheet of paper, and places it in view from the very beginning of this routine. A spectator then takes any card they like -- it really is a FREE choice! They put the card in their pocket, not showing anyone, not even themselves. The performer then picks up the paper, their childhood poem, and reads it aloud. The last line of the poem names a playing card. The spectator removes the card (who's identity has never been seen by either the spectator or the performer) from their pocket - it is IDENTICAL to the one named in the poem!
"Completely fooled me. I'm starting to wonder whether it's just a magic trick or some black magic is involved."
