Penetrating Rope

I thought at first the method would be obvious but it actually performed quite well. Unfortunately there was no tuition as a password was provided without saying where to access it. (I am awaiting a reply from the supplier.) So I have no explanation for performing the rope through finger or pencil effect. Luckily I think I have worked something out but would still like to see the tutorial.

A very simple visual trick. Very easy to perform and instantly resets. But my only thought about it is don't do it too many times to the same people as you can see them realising how it works. But for a one off 'quick' trick it's great. But if they ask to see it again, maybe move on.
