Hand Flasher

It needs constant adjustment to get a good flash of sparks and it is not repeatable. You have to wind it up for each use. The only way to use it makes the sparks come out from between the fingers at right angles to a pointing finger. Not ideal.

Cheap and fragile! Once the spring is wound the flash lasts less than half a second and has to be rewound. It would be much better if the mechanism were slower and thus allowed a longer flash of sparks. The 'handle' to where it is retained by the fingers broke within a few days, but it was a very low priced item so not exactly unexpected. Fortunately, this item was purchased for a specific short term project of three perfomances and just about lasted. If you want a reliable version, then spend a bit more money.
