“10/10 I’ve totally baffled a whole room of people with this little mystery. It’s as much fun to do as it is to watch. It’s even fooled my wife, which is no mean feat! Highly recommended” - James W
The borrowed and signed 20p coin magically jumps into the box inside the crystal pyramid!
Is it the work of ghosts? Is it a demonstration of pyramid power?
How on earth did the borrowed coin get INSIDE the sealed box, INSIDE the Pyramid? Just thinking about it is enough to drive you crazy!!
EASY FOR BEGINNERS - POWERFUL FOR PROFESSIONALS
This little mystery will have them mystified. How can the borrowed and initiated coin vanish only to appear inside the case?!?
So easy to perform, even for complete beginners.
Use any borrowed coin smaller than 25mm Diameter and thinner than 2mm thickness. Works great with UK 20p, Euro 5c , and US Quarters. Older 10p coins work if under 2mm thickness.
Q&A
Can the coin be signed by the spectator.
Yes, you can borrow a coin and have them sign or mark it. That step really adds to the mystery as it shows that it really is their coin that teleports inside the pyramid.
Can I use any UK coin?
The coin must be thin enough to sit in the stand on the platform at the start of the effect. 1p, and 20p coins work great. However, newer 10p coins are just a tiny bit too thick. Older worn 10p coins work fine but may require a little nudge once the cloth covers the pyramid. In the magic shop we use 20p coins and recommend those.
What about noise?
When you pick up the pyramid, there is a little sound as the coin vanishes and teleports inside. That's part of the effect and adds to the mystery. With just a little practice, you can make this very smooth and quiet.
You should not be performing in total silence... Remember to talk and be 'present the magic' as you perform the crystal pyramid.
