Super magic trick, reasonably easy to perform and very effective. Bit of a faff to change the threads, perhaps the spare threads could come with melted knots on one end. That said, they don’t need changing that often. Great trick.

This is a beautifully made little item, with a solid feel to it. I love the way that close up spectators can join in with this by pulling the strings. I have always felt that the stage version is a bit too strange a prop to make sense to use for my style of performing, but I'm going with the back story of finding this in the bottom of a box of junk I bought from a charity shop and asking the audience member to help me try to understand it.
It is stiff to use at first but soon loosens enough, and there are plenty of spare pieces of string if you break one.

Beautifully made. The tubes go together with a satisfying snap. The one thing I wish - And I am probably going to adapt this using the supplied spare string - is that each of the beads were a different colour.

The Little Brass Tube is nicely made, but there are a couple of issues of which one should be aware before purchasing. The edges of the holes where the string passes through are still somewhat sharp, evidently. It quickly frays the outside of the strings as they are pulled through. The maker must be aware of this, as extra strings are included and the instructional video demonstrates how to replace them. The other issue is that the two halves are quite difficult to pull apart and put back together. I grew up on a farm stacking hay bales, and I can barely get them to separate. I fear a person with less upper body strength would become very frustrated trying to perform that aspect of the trick. I tried to lubricate where the two halves join with tuning slide grease (designed for use with brass musical instruments) but so far it has not helped much. My next step will be to take some emery cloth to remove material from the inner section where they join so they will more easily slide together--but for the price charged, the end user should not be expected to re-tool the prop so that it works more easily. That said, it's well built and looks good (time will tell if the brass starts to tarnish).

It looks intriguing, even before you show what it does.
Very well made and well worth the money.

A great trick, easy to perform and well made

Excellent quality and brilliant effect. I don’t need to do anything, all in the hands of the spectators… spare parts included. Brilliant and must have in your pocket to use anytime anywhere

Nicely made, rather hard to open initially.
(The joint is a very good fit.)
The cord holes could have been smoother, but it is supplied with spare cords should either break.
It works well when carefully handled.

Beautifully made. It is unique and quite elegant. The function is perfect. As an effect it it is brief, but because it is difficult to fathom how it works the magic moment lasts after it is put away.

Best trick I've brought in ages. A pocket size miracle

Perfect companion trick to the Little Brass Bolt. Easy and very magical.

Very high quality and great service from the magic shop. Highly recommended

Exactly the sort of magical treasure I love to show my son. It's fooled the socks off him.

Been performing this all week. It's my go to carry around magic effect. Spin a story around how you inherited it, and you have a charming and magical prop.
Brian M
I expected this to be remote activated from the demo. It is not electronic.
Matthew B
Great trick. Would have preferred written instructions as my hearing is not good. but it's easy enough to pick up.
Stephen J
Can't recommend this enough. When you split the tube in half it drops their jaws. Instructions are clear and it's well made. 10/10

This fools everyone. Highly recommended. Another great find from Merchant of Magic
