This was a very good buy if you are happy to be presented with a variety of tricks which you may or may not wish to perform.
What is abundantly clear however is the amazing value for money. Far, far more monetary value to all the tricks you receive compared to the price of the box.

This was my first mystery box, and i must say i was very pleased, the magic tricks i received were amazing, but for me it was the anticipation of opening the mystery box, not knowing what will be inside, the box itself is lovely and well made, and with a soft red paper padding inside. Im having a great time learning the tricks and have already performed one to my mum which she loved. Highly recommend, and can't wait for next months mystery box

Once again a fantastic experience from order to delivery of the Mystery box from Merchant of Magic.
Items inside the box total way over £80 so well worth the money.

A bit underwhelmed again with the Nov 2025 box. A couple of tricks very basic and samey, one pretty bad, and just one that seems ok. I’ve been buying these boxes each month since the first great box I had in the summer, and none have been as good as the first one.

Unfortunately I already owned half the stuff that came but that said it was still great value and the two tricks I didn't have were worth the money alone. The two that I had already will be useful as spares as they are card based and will eventually get grubby. Will certainly order the next one. Also included a pack of playing cards which are always handy.

I bought the September Mystery Box - I've had a few over the last couple of years, but this was the best yet!
I'd been looking at a particular effect, and was intending to buy it on its own, but when I opened the mystery box, there it was!
I calculated the value of the items in the box and found that they were worth almost twice what the box cost! Amazing Value, and you may find an effect you've coveted, inside!

This is my third Mystery box in a row, and although the first one was a bit disappointing, I'm so glad I decided to order two more months! You won't see the gummies in the picture because my daughter now knows what the boxes look like and wants some of the sweets. I don't even like the gummies we get here in the US, but it's not just a nice touch as an extra, but I love these! Ok, back to the magic: The previous month was fantastic, but this month was an out of the park home run! Let's start with the Waves deck of cards, which have a very nice pattern and handle like a dream for me, retailing at about $16.99. What magician doesn't like a good deck of cards?! Next up is Anniversary Heartz. A neat little effect inspired by the Anniversary Waltz that starts with two hearts and two names, but then leaves the two spectators with a single keepsake heart with both names on it. Retail is approximately $45 on that one, so already more than the cost of the box!
Next up is The Ultimate Switch, retailing approximately $45 also, is a really neat little card switching device that looks incredible in the videos, and I look forward to fooling around with. Then there is a card effect called The Different One that makes the freely chosen card back change color, retailing at just under $40. Last but not least, is CTB-or Change to Bill. This is a fast, cool looking receipt to bill change that requires a little arts and crafts, retailing for just under $40.
So, grand total retail value of about $187 US! Not only that, I will most likely use 3-4 of those items at one time or another. Yes, you never know what each box contains, but if your first Mystery Box disappoints a little, be sure to give an honest review and order at least one more! I was glad I did, and I would buy one every month if I could!

Firstly, I found the value of items in the box far exceeded the price paid.
Secondly, all items were new to me, and within my limited capabilities. I really liked the Rubik’s cube magic, and after learning the basics, found my own version of placing a scrambled cube into a box, shaking the box, and amazingly, the cube was magically solved. A multitude of different effects with the cube could be done, using ordinary ungimmicked cubes.

This was my first box! I was quite pleased with the contents. Michael Murray's Polarity was cool and has gone straight in my wallet. Paul Gordon is not a creator I'm fond of but his Spectral was quite nice and has got me practising the Omega count, something I dismissed a long time ago as too hard but now find it quite easy. The Hummer card I've had before but this is a prod to play with it again. Chiam Yu Sheng's impossible card balance is less good. Very fiddly and not so convincing but I haven't given up on it yet. The Tenyo Magical Sneakers I've not yet tried because the instructions come as a pdf of a long paper strip of instructions which is impossible to read on my phone. I will need to try again on my laptop. The cards look intriguing though and I like the idea of card tricks that aren't with playing cards. Overall, it was good. At least one instant worker and a good incentive to practice a count I should have had sorted long ago.

This is my second time purchasing the mystery box. The value of the contents is greater than the cost of the box. I love that each month I receive a handful of tricks, some of which I've never seen before, and some of which I am familiar with but have never purchased. Almost all of the products in the box are ones I will try out with friends. There are some products that are outside my usual practice so I'm a little more reticent to try them out with friends, but they are still good products that might prompt me to branch out.

Wow, what can I say! These mystery boxes are worth every penny. If you were to buy the contents separately it would be well over double the price!
The box contained some easy tricks as well as a couple that required a moderate level of skill.
Merchants of Magic are truly my No1 place for all things magic and at a phenomenal price!

Tried the mystery box 2 months in a row. The costs of the included items on both occasions from this website greatly exceed the cost of the box. That being said it is a mystery box so not necessarily matching your usual types of purchase. Over the 2 months I have found at least one item in each box I will make use of. The rest are gimmicks I'll never use, meaning in reality I'd have been financially better off buying those items individually. I wanted to try a second month to try my luck so to speak and see if I'd get more value from it but have learned from my error and will be unlikely to try it again. If you like numerous gaffed items it'll be right up your street. I'd hoped this would be a regular purchase but the boxes don't really contain enough value for my style.

I am typically skeptical of secret boxes like this because the value of the included products is usually far less than the price. But, I am just gullible enough to keep ordering them.
Fortunately, the Merchant of Magic Mystery Box has blown me away. It includes a wide variety of tricks of various skill levels as well as a couple of extras. I might not have picked up these tricks on my own (I had never heard of any of them before) but now that I have them I am glad I do because they are great tricks that are well worth the value. I will definitely be signing up for future mystery boxes!

Don't get me wrong the boxes value far outweighs the RRP but for some reason this months box just didn't hit the spot. But do you know what, I have bought many boxes from you and one box out of the many I've bought that wasn't up my street isn't bad. I guess not every trick suits every magician, right?
