Five coloured strings, each with a coloured card attatched, are displayed.

The performer borrows a ring and attaches this to one of the loops. This is known only to the performer. Through the use of psycometry, the audience correctly, and cleanly, eliminates each coloured string, until the final colour remains in the performers hand. The performer, or spectator, takes the loop of string, to find that the borrowed ring is securely attached. The audience are congratulated on their success, and the ring is returned to its rightful owner.

Everything may be examined at the start and the end of the effect. If you're feeling particularly flush, the four 'empty' loops with cards (business cards?) attached can be handed out as souvenirs through the course of the effect.

Consider the following:

● No gimmicked ring – The ring can be genuinely borrowed.

● No 'loose' knots - The string is genuinely tied into a loop (with whichever knots you feel are needed).

● No P.A.T.E.O or Equivoque – Each spectator genuinely has a free choice over their colour choice.

● No sleights, switches or duplicates.
