Two Queens are removed and placed on the table. A card is freely selected and lost in the pack. The Queens are placed cleanly in the centre of the pack, some gestures, the Queens visually appear on top of the pack with a face‐down card trapped in between them and this proves to be their selection.

This effect is repeated and both Queens fail to sandwich the selection this time but when the performer deals the Queens one at a time on the table, suddenly a card appears visually face‐down in between the Queens and the performer successfully performs the magic again.
