The Little Mind Machine.
I recently purchased The Little Mind Machine and following some technological issues in accessing the instructions (others of my advanced years may also have difficulty with the modern practice of dealers forcing customers to click on to codes with passwords etc.. when a simple sheet of paper with written instructions would be much easier to understand!).
However, following a few on-line exchanges; resulting in the required information being passed on to me, I was pleasantly impressed with my purchase.
NB. Thank you, Merchant of Magic for your patience and courtesy, much appreciated.
The prop consists of a robustly made disc, (synthetic rubber?) slightly larger than a coaster, upon which is printed around the outer edge twelve coloured segments. In addition, each segment carries a letter of the alphabet.
There is an additional inner disc, also divided into twelve. These inner twelve sections are randomly numbered. And the whole of the inner circle can be revolved, enabling the numbers to match up with the outer coloured segments on the larger disc.
On the edge of the inner disc and adjacent to the numbered sections are twelve 'cogs,' onto which a spectator in invited to clip a button like marker attachment.
Once attached, the centre disc is revolved around the larger disc, and is moved in accordance to the number to which it has been clipped.
A clever mathematical principle enables the performer to predict in advance, the colour upon which the marker finishes following the clipping and moving of the marker around the outer segments.
Having demonstrated a couple or three times predicting the colours the performer can ask the spectator to concentrate on the letters, and is equally successful in predicting the letters.
It is very easy to do and I would suggest totally baffling!
I have already written a script and am calling it, “Tommy Tickles Multi-coloured Wheel of Fortune Fairground Guessing Game!”(I like a nice short, snappy title!”).
Highly recommended!

I have marked it as requiring 'moderate skill' in as much as I believe it requires a degree of presentational skill!

Great little effect spoilt by lack of any english instruction and when I asked for help, twice, did not receive any reply. Had to work it out for myself as the method is quite simple.

I love this. And at this price….amazing.
I can’t believe how much fun I can get with this. Cannot recommend this highly enough. I get the same responses from this, as effects I spend hundreds of pounds on.

Works extremely well, and has had every one who saw the performance was completely baffled.

Easy to perform, literally in minutes, and very convincing. Can be repeated immediately with no reset.

A great little pocket effect. Easy to do and fun to perform. Highly recommended

I found it difficult to get the English instructions for this effect but by watching the Japanese video and studying the apparatus I discovered the secret.

Good little trick with a very easy manipulation. However would recommend that before you perform it to others get your patter right I made the fundamental mistake of showing how good I was at performing the trick and my family were immediately suspicious. They worked out how the mechanics of the trick worked but not exactly how it was performed. You need loads of banter to cover the deceptively simple operation of the trick. Hope this helps

lovely effect. had to work out the method myself as could not download the instructions. anyway i think they were in italian!! lovely trick as long as you do not show it a professor of mathmatics haha. would love to access the instructions though!
Michael Y.
A nice attractive and easy to use apparatus and other items. However the explanation of how the trick works was in a foreign language which sounds like Italian and features two people talking together in Italian .
A written explanation of how the trick works in English would be a great help .

Lot of fun and makes you look like you have Darren Brown skills

Good effect and engaging but would have liked more presentation ideas

Perfect bit of magic for me. I always do a magic trick each year when the family get together and this one's a baffler! Fooled everyone and they now think I have mind powers
