Very useful guidelines for beginners, not just in magic but in entertainment generally. I learned very early on not to provide music for family parties because the 'magic' isn't there I'm not a 'proper DJ' I'm just 'Lionel'. This was no reflection on my ability either. By all means practice on family and friends for constructive feedback but make it clear that this is not a 'performance'. They will enjoy being your guinea pigs and will tell you if they spot anything they shouldn't, where an audience will just leave bad reviews.

Imperative that all performers understand and immediately put to use the information in this ebook. The art of magic is exactly that, and although this doesn't teach you a trick per se, it absolutely teaches you how to become better. The philosophy of art is just as imperative to understand as the physical and technical execution. Do yourself a favour and add to cart already.
