I COULD MAKE TRICK WORK STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX WITHOUT INSTRUCTIONS ,ALTHOUGH THERE IS A CARD IN THE BOX WITH A LINK TO A VERY GOOD EXPLANITORY VIDEO ON WEB. EASY BUT SOME PRACTICE REQUIRED TO KEEP THE SECRET AND DEVELOPE A GOOD STORY AND ROUTINE. HAS SCOPE TO EXTEND THE TRICK WITH OTHER ACCESSORIES , CARDS ETC.

Looks like a really old rusty key. Will fool anyone.
Practiced on my own, only took a few minutes to master the technique. Then half an hour to fine tune and come up with an interesting story to make it believable. All I have to do now is perform to my grandsons and see their reactions to see if I have the magic touch.

Was after some easy to produce tricks and the haunted key was at a decent price. Wasn't sure what to expect of it, but once I've messed around with it, it's actually one of my favourites to do! Mastered it in about 5 seconds. It inspired me to invent a tale for my Grandsons.....
"Your great, great Grandad was too poor for a coffin - buried on wooden planks and wrapped in sack cloth. Generations later, body was moved (making motorway) - key in the skeleton hand - if it turns it proves that you have his DNA...
- I place the key in my hand and tell them to concentrate Guess what - they DO have his DNA : wink wink
Next I will try it on women - if it turns then you are going to heaven......

Although this is a self-working effect, it is not one for the beginner. To present it effectively requires a high degree of presentation. That said, this is probably one of, if not the best, haunted keys I have seen, and I have seen a lot of them since I got my first from Martin Breese some fifty-odd years ago. I would really recommend this to anyone who is into spritialist or bizarre magic.

I remember getting this effect when it first came out which must have been about 60 years ago. Subsequently I have owned many version of it but this is one of the best I have ever acquired. First, it looks like a genuine old key, the first I have seen since the one that Martin Breese used to sell. More importantly, there are no tell tail marks where it has been filed down to get the balance right, which is a case with many similar products. Secondly, it is supremely well balanced. Too many haunted keys are overbalanced in favour of the turn, which makes controlling them difficult. Control of this is easy once you have got a feel for it. By far the best haunted key that I have owned for years.

This is a mighty fine key, well balanced for a nice slow turn (it looks spooky best when it turns real slow), and it looks old which is good for the right storyline; when I’m doing walk around gigs I wear it on a leather cord round my neck and wait for someone to ask about it, when I’m working the street I have it out on my table.
My story is that it’s an old key that have been turned so often in a lock it develops a kind of metal memory, and can turn in it’s own; I usually have it so it doesn’t turn, then take it and hold it in my palms, just creating a false idea of how it works, and then do it.
It is really easy to do, but like most simple magic effects, it takes practice and thought to do it well; it’s the kind of thing to do after you have won them over, and then it can blow their mind.
If this is a trick you want to do, and you can’t find an old key knocking around your house, this is, as I said, a mighty fine key at a reasonable price.
